Information we collect
We collect minimal information. If you join the newsletter or the safety recall alerts, we store your email address. If you sign in with Google to save products, we receive your Google account name and email, and we store the products you save. Traffic measurement is cookieless. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.
Cookies
Our traffic measurement is cookieless and sets nothing on your device. We use your browser's own local storage to remember your preferences and to hold the registry you build, and a sign-in cookie only if you sign in. You can clear both in your browser settings.

No passwords, because Google handles sign-in and never shares one with us, and no payment details, because BabyGear sells nothing directly. We do not sell, rent, or trade any of it.
Deleting your data
You can ask us to delete anything we hold about you. Email hello@babygearhere.com from the address you signed up with. Requests are handled by hand, so allow up to 30 days, and we will confirm once it is done.
Two clarifications so you know what you are asking for. Recall-alert subscriptions are stored in our database: the unsubscribe link in any email stops the emails right away by marking the subscription inactive, but the record itself is only erased if you ask us to delete it. Newsletter signups and contact form messages are not stored in a database at all, they simply arrive as an email to us, so deleting those means deleting that message.
Third-party links
Our site contains links to Amazon, Target, Walmart, and other retailers. These sites have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. We are not responsible for their practices.
